Designed to bring Allen & Heath's distinctive sensibility into a compact, portable frame, the ZEDi-10FX is a six-channel mixer that has reverb, delay, chorus and tap-tempo functionality. But that's not all: the unit also functions as a USB interface offering four channels of analog to digital conversion or vice versa. On the analog side, you get four XLR inputs, four line inputs, two instrument ports, and two pairs of stereo line inputs. Therefore, you'll find the ZEDi-10FX equally suitable for live mixing in small venues and for tracking instruments on the go. If you choose to use the unit as an interface, you'll find that it comes with Cubase LE, a digital audio workstation that allows you to record, sequence and edit music, whether audio or MIDI. On the analog front, the ZEDi-10FX is built with preamps modeled on the Allen& Heath GS2-R24. These channel strips aim to provide warmth, low noise and a large extent of headroom. Onboard equalizers also come standard with the unit. Two channels feature a knob that converts the line-level signal to high-impedance jacks, meaning guitarists don't need to lug around an extra DI box if they want to go straight to the board. Turning your attention to the digital side of things, you'll notice that a USB switch controls the routing of your USB output, allowing you to select how to route and separate the incoming analog signals into your DAW.. USB audio interface (24-bit/96 kHz) Cubase LE software includes the Cubasis LE application includes 4 mic/line inputs with separate XLR and TRS jacks, 2 stereo inputs with TRS jack jacks 2 high-impedance DI inputs for guitar,
