Bicron Electronics Increases Precision Toroidal Power Transformer Winding Capacity to 10,000VA
Bicron Electronics Company has added new capacity for precision winding large toroidal power transformers. The expanded size ranges are specially important for customers requiring high VA systems with all the advantages of toroidal winding: lower size and weight, lower radiated EMI, virtually no audible noise, as well as a very wide choice of configurations.
The expanded size capabilities enable production of transformers up to the following ranges:
• VA Capacity up to 10,000VA
• Wire Size down to 5AWG (0.181" dia. [4.62mm])
• O.D. up to 22 inches
• Height up to 12 inches
• Weight up to 200 lbs.
The new winding equipment is highly automated to reduce both labor cost and to assure the highest possible precision in the finished product.
