Bicron Solenoids are Products of the Year Again in 1998!
EE Product News magazine annually features "Products of the Year Winners" determined by the magazine's readers. Bicron miniature solenoids type SCL0929 and SCL1330 designed for battery or low power operation were chosen for this honor in December 1998. A plaque was presented to the Bicron Sales & Engineerring Team. Bicron received similar honors for their solenoid designs in 1996 and 1997.
The short story in the 12/98 issue of EEPN reads: "Solenoids Designed for Battery Power:, Less than one inch in length and available in various voltage and force ratings, this line of C-Frame magnetic latching solenoids is designed for battery operation in applications such as locking or latching devices, laptop computer docking hardware, and more . . ."
